About Me

I am Abigail Vettese, a multidisciplinary artist immersed in a myriad of creative pursuits. My foremost source of artistic expression is illustration, complemented by interests including photography, videography, tattooing, music production, and writing. Over the past several years, my primary endeavor, The Shape of Sanctum, has served me in the cultivation of creative skill sets, blending digital and analog approaches. This project’s name also extends to one of my two music ventures, the other being a self-titled, experimental exploration.

Currently, I am a student of Philosophy and Environmental Science, with a minor in Technical and Professional Writing. My curiosity propels me to a spectrum of subjects; while creativity serves as the driving force behind my endeavors, I am deeply passionate about learning and academia.

My artwork has been published in Springer Forestry Science, as well as Philosophy Now.

My photography is shot through the lens of a second-hand Canon Rebel T2I, while my illustrations are drawn using Micron pens, and my stick and poke tattooing is accomplished predominantly utilizing 5RL needles.

You can listen to my ideas on my podcast, The Impasse.
